Understanding the Dashboard

What you see after logging in

After logging in you land on the search page. This is the main interface — most of what you do in Easy Mail Archive starts with a search.

Administrators also have access to the Admin Dashboard, which shows system health, onboarding progress, and email volume stats.

The sidebar on the left gives you access to every section. It collapses on smaller screens and can be toggled with the menu icon.

Everyone sees:

  • Search — the main search interface
  • Account — your profile, password, and two-factor authentication settings

Administrators additionally see the Admin section with:

  • Dashboard — system health, onboarding checklist, email volume
  • Domains — manage verified email domains
  • Users — add, edit, deactivate user accounts
  • Groups — organize users and configure group-based message access
  • Integrations — SMTP relay settings and directory connectors (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, IMAP)
  • Security — login and authentication policy toggles
  • Rules — exclusion and retention rules
  • Audit Log — searchable log of all user and admin actions
  • Statistics — archive size and storage breakdown
  • Branding — customize the tenant's name, colors, and logo
  • Legal Hold — manage litigation holds on messages

Depending on your plan, you may also see entries for SSO/OIDC configuration, billing, and other features.

Admin dashboard

The Admin Dashboard (Admin > Dashboard) has a few sections:

Onboarding checklist — shown until all four steps are complete: add a domain, add users, configure a connector, and receive your first email. Each step links to the relevant page.

System health — total email count, archive size, stored size, and database size.

Email volume — message counts for the last hour, day, week, and month.

Source warnings — if any configured connectors have errors or warnings, they appear as banners at the top with a link to the Integrations page.

Account menu

Click your name in the top-right corner to access account settings, change your display language, or log out.

Next steps

If you have not connected an email source yet, head to Connecting Your Email Server to get messages flowing into the archive.
