Supported browsers

Easy Mail Archive is a modern web application that runs entirely in your browser. No desktop software or plugins are required. The following browsers are fully supported:

Google Chrome - Version 90 and later
Mozilla Firefox - Version 90 and later
Apple Safari - Version 15 and later
Microsoft Edge - Version 90 and later (Chromium-based)

We recommend always using the latest stable version of your preferred browser for the best experience and security.

Unsupported browsers

The following browsers are not supported:

Internet Explorer - All versions. Internet Explorer has been retired by Microsoft and does not support the modern web standards that Easy Mail Archive requires.
Legacy Microsoft Edge - The non-Chromium version of Edge (pre-2020) is not supported.
Outdated browser versions - Browsers older than the versions listed above may experience layout issues, missing features, or degraded performance.

If you are using an unsupported browser, you will see a notification prompting you to upgrade.

Screen resolution

Easy Mail Archive is fully responsive and works on screens of all sizes:

Desktop - Best experience at 1280x720 pixels or higher
Tablet - Fully functional in both landscape and portrait orientations
Mobile - The interface adapts to smaller screens, though a desktop or tablet provides the most comfortable experience for reading and managing emails

JavaScript must be enabled in your browser for Easy Mail Archive to function. The application is built as a single-page application (SPA) that relies on JavaScript for rendering the interface and handling interactions. If JavaScript is disabled, you will see a message asking you to enable it.

Cookies and storage

Easy Mail Archive uses cookies for session management and authentication. Ensure that cookies are enabled for your tenant domain (e.g., acme.easymailarchive.com). The application also uses browser local storage for caching preferences.

If you use browser extensions that block cookies or scripts (such as ad blockers or privacy tools), you may need to whitelist your Easy Mail Archive tenant URL.

Network requirements

Easy Mail Archive is a cloud-hosted service. Users need a stable internet connection to access the archive. The application is optimized for standard broadband connections, and search results are paginated to keep page loads fast even on slower connections.

If your organization uses a corporate firewall or proxy, ensure that the following domains are accessible:

*.easymailarchive.com (or *.easymailarchive.de for German instances)
Your tenant-specific subdomain
