Downloading Archived Emails
Downloading a single message
Open a message from the search results and click Download in the toolbar. The email is saved as an EML file — a standard format that Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail and most other clients can open directly.
The EML file contains everything: headers, body (HTML and plain text), and all attachments, exactly as the message was originally received.
Restoring messages to a mailbox
If you need to get messages back into someone's inbox rather than just downloading them, use the bulk restore feature. Select one or more messages from the search results, click Restore, and enter the target email address. The archive re-delivers each message with its original headers (date, sender, recipients) preserved.
Large restores run in the background. You will get a notification when the job completes.
See Bulk Operations for more on selecting and restoring multiple messages at once.
Printing and PDF
From the message view, you can also print the message or save it as a PDF using the toolbar buttons. The print view includes the full message headers and body but strips the surrounding app interface.
