Upgrading Your Plan
When to Upgrade
Consider upgrading your Easy Mail Archive plan when you need features that are only available on higher tiers, or when you are approaching the user limit of your current plan. Common reasons to upgrade include:
- You need legal hold capabilities to preserve messages for litigation or compliance
- You want to use the API to integrate archiving with your other tools
- You require PDF signing for tamper-proof message exports
- Your team is growing beyond 50 users (Starter limit)
- You want SSO/OIDC integration with your identity provider (Enterprise)
- You need dedicated support with a named account manager (Enterprise)
How to Upgrade
To upgrade your plan:
- Navigate to Settings > Billing
- Click Change Plan
- Select the plan you want to upgrade to
- Review the pricing summary, which shows your new per-license cost and estimated monthly total
- Click Confirm Upgrade
The upgrade takes effect immediately. You will have instant access to all features included in your new plan.
Prorated Billing
When you upgrade mid-billing cycle, Easy Mail Archive calculates the cost on a prorated basis. You will only be charged the price difference for the remaining days in your current billing period. For example, if you upgrade from Starter (EUR 4/license) to Business (EUR 9/license) halfway through your billing period, you will be charged approximately EUR 2.50 per license for the remainder of that period.
Starting with your next full billing cycle, you will be charged the full price of your new plan.
Upgrading to Enterprise
The Enterprise plan requires a custom agreement. To upgrade to Enterprise:
- Navigate to Settings > Billing
- Click Contact Sales under the Enterprise plan
- Our sales team will reach out to discuss your requirements and provide a custom quote
Enterprise agreements may include custom storage allocations, SLA guarantees, and volume discounts.
What Happens to Your Data
All your existing archived emails, settings, users, and configurations are preserved when you upgrade. Nothing changes except the features available to you and the price of your subscription. There is no downtime during a plan change.
