Payment Methods

Accepted Payment Methods

Easy Mail Archive accepts the following payment methods through our payment processor, Stripe:

  • Credit and debit cards - Visa, Mastercard, and American Express
  • SEPA Direct Debit - Available for customers with a bank account in the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA)

All payments are processed in EUR. Your bank may apply currency conversion fees if your account is in a different currency.

Adding a Payment Method

When you first subscribe to Easy Mail Archive, you will be prompted to enter a payment method during checkout. To add a payment method to an existing account:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Payment Method
  3. Choose either Credit Card or SEPA Direct Debit
  4. Enter your payment details in the secure form
  5. Click Save

The payment form is hosted by Stripe and your card or bank details are never stored on our servers.

Updating Your Payment Method

To change the card or bank account used for future payments:

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Update next to your current payment method
  3. Enter the new payment details
  4. Click Save

The new payment method will be used for all future charges. If you have an outstanding balance, it will be charged to the new payment method.

SEPA Direct Debit

SEPA Direct Debit allows automatic payments directly from your bank account. When setting up SEPA:

  • You will need to provide your IBAN
  • A SEPA mandate will be created, authorizing Easy Mail Archive to collect payments
  • Payments typically take 3-5 business days to process
  • You will receive a pre-notification email before each debit

SEPA Direct Debit is popular with European business customers as it avoids credit card fees and integrates well with business banking.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, Easy Mail Archive will retry the charge automatically over the following days. You will receive an email notification about the failed payment. If repeated attempts fail, your account may be suspended until the payment issue is resolved.

To resolve a failed payment, update your payment method in Settings > Billing or ensure sufficient funds are available on the existing payment method.
