Session Management
Overview
Easy Mail Archive keeps track of your active login sessions. You can review where you are currently logged in and terminate sessions you no longer need. This is especially useful if you have logged in from a shared computer or suspect that your account may have been accessed without your permission.
Viewing Active Sessions
To see all your active sessions:
- Go to Account Settings
- Scroll to the Active Sessions section
Each session entry shows the following information:
- Browser and operating system - The type of browser and OS used for the session
- IP address - The network address the session originated from
- Last active - When the session was last used
- Current session - A label indicating which entry corresponds to your current browser session
Logging Out of Other Sessions
If you see a session that you do not recognize or no longer need, you can terminate it:
- Find the session in the Active Sessions list
- Click the Revoke button next to the session
- Confirm the action
The terminated session is invalidated immediately. Anyone using that session will be logged out and required to sign in again.
You can also click Revoke All Other Sessions to log out of every session except the one you are currently using. This is recommended if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Session Expiry
Sessions expire automatically after a period of inactivity. The exact duration is configured by your organization's administrator. When a session expires, you will be redirected to the login page and asked to sign in again.
To keep your account secure:
- Log out when using shared or public computers
- Regularly review your active sessions
- Revoke any sessions from locations or devices you do not recognize
Administrator Access
Your organization's administrator can view active sessions for all users in the admin panel. They can also terminate sessions on behalf of users if necessary, for example when a user reports a compromised account.
