Managing Your Profile
Accessing Your Profile
To manage your profile, click on your name or avatar in the top-right corner of the application and select Account Settings. The profile section is displayed at the top of the page.
Updating Your Name
Your display name is shown throughout the application - in the navigation bar, in audit logs, and when other users or administrators view your account. To update it:
- Go to Account Settings
- Edit the Name field
- Click Save
Your name change takes effect immediately across the application.
Changing Your Email Address
Your email address is used for login, receiving verification codes, and system notifications. To change it:
- Go to Account Settings
- Edit the Email field
- Click Save
Please note that your administrator may restrict which email addresses are allowed based on your organization's domain settings. If your new email address is not accepted, contact your administrator.
Language Preferences
You can set your preferred language for the application interface. Easy Mail Archive currently supports English and German. To change your language:
- Go to Account Settings
- Select your preferred language from the Language dropdown
- Click Save
The interface language will update immediately after saving. For more details, see the Language Settings article.
What Administrators Can See
Your organization's administrators can view your profile information, including your name and email address. They can also update these fields on your behalf if needed. Changes made by an administrator take effect immediately.
