Language Settings
Supported Languages
Easy Mail Archive currently supports two interface languages:
- English - Default language
- German (Deutsch) - Full translation of all interface elements
The language setting affects the entire application interface, including navigation, buttons, labels, form fields, and system messages.
Changing Your Language
To change the interface language:
- Click on your name or avatar in the top-right corner
- Select Account Settings
- Find the Language dropdown
- Select your preferred language
- Click Save
The interface updates immediately after saving. You do not need to log out or refresh the page.
What the Language Setting Affects
Your language preference applies to:
- All navigation menus and page headings
- Button labels and form fields
- System messages, error messages, and confirmations
- Email notifications sent by the system
What the Language Setting Does Not Affect
The language setting does not change:
- Archived email content - Emails are displayed in their original language
- Search queries - You can search in any language regardless of your interface setting
- Data entered by other users - Names, notes, and other user-generated content remain in the language they were entered in
Organization Default
Your administrator may set a default language for the organization. If you have not explicitly chosen a language, the organization default will be used. Your personal preference always overrides the organization default once set.
