White-Label Branding

Overview

White-label branding allows you to present Easy Mail Archive as your own product. Your customers interact with your brand identity throughout the entire experience - from the login page to the archive interface. There is no visible reference to Easy Mail Archive in the end-user interface.

Branding Elements

As a reseller, you can customize the following elements:

  • Base domain - Your tenants are accessible under your own domain (e.g., archive.yourcompany.com)
  • Company name - Displayed in the header, footer, and email notifications
  • Logo - Shown in the navigation bar and login page. Recommended size: 200x50 pixels, PNG or SVG with transparent background.
  • Favicon - The browser tab icon. Provide a 32x32 pixel PNG or ICO file.
  • Primary color - Used for buttons, links, and accent elements throughout the interface. Provide a hex color code (e.g., #0D6DCC).

Branding Hierarchy

Easy Mail Archive uses a three-level branding hierarchy:

  1. Tenant overrides - If a tenant has custom branding configured, it takes priority
  2. Reseller branding - Your branding is applied to all tenants that do not have their own overrides
  3. EMA defaults - If neither tenant nor reseller branding is configured, the default Easy Mail Archive branding is used

This hierarchy gives you flexibility. You can set your brand at the reseller level and let it cascade to all tenants, while still allowing individual tenants to use their own logo and colors if needed.

Configuring Your Branding

Branding is configured during the onboarding process. To update your branding after initial setup, contact our partnerships team with the updated assets. Provide:

  1. Your reseller slug or base domain
  2. The updated logo file (PNG or SVG, transparent background)
  3. The updated favicon file (32x32, PNG or ICO)
  4. Your company name as it should appear in the interface
  5. Your preferred primary color as a hex code

Tenant Branding Overrides

Individual tenants can override the reseller branding with their own identity. This is useful for enterprise customers who want their own logo and colors within their archive instance. Tenant branding overrides can be set via the API when creating or updating a tenant.

The following fields can be overridden per tenant:

  • custom_name - Override the company name
  • custom_primary_color - Override the primary accent color
  • custom_logo - Override the navigation logo
  • custom_favicon - Override the browser tab icon

If a tenant override field is left empty, the reseller's branding is used for that element.

Email Notifications

System emails (login codes, notifications) are also branded with your identity. The sender name and email template reflect your company name and primary color, so end users receive a consistent brand experience across the web interface and email communications.
