Prove that a chat happened. And that nobody changed it.
We are planning chat archiving for Slack, Google Chat and Microsoft Teams. Every message, edit and deletion is recorded independently of the platform, sealed with a qualified timestamp and stored in Germany.

What the proof covers
That a message existed in exactly this form at the time of the timestamp and has not changed since. Edits and deletions stay visible as separate entries.
What it does not cover
- Messages written before the setup
- Channels where recording is not active
- Who actually typed, beyond the account
- Whether the content of a message is true
How it is meant to work
- Install once in your workspace
- An app for Slack, Google Chat or Teams records the approved channels company-wide. Employees do not need to do anything.
- Every change is kept
- Message, edit and deletion are stored as separate entries and chained with SHA-256. A later change breaks the chain.
- Time with legal weight
- Qualified timestamps under eIDAS. Search and export in the existing EasyMailArchive archive.
For records retention, not for monitoring
Chat archiving is meant to work like email archiving: keep business communication and be able to present it in a dispute. Channels can be excluded. Where a works council exists, introducing it requires its co-determination (§ 87(1) no. 6 BetrVG); a works agreement comes first.
Planned as an add-on to the Business plan. The form asks whether 3 EUR per user per month works for you.
